A bungalow with a resort-style terrace garden, a glass lift wrapped by a floating staircase, and bedrooms built around each child's passions.

The story

The client wanted a house that feels like a getaway without leaving home. The terrace became a landscaped retreat with a sunken circular lounge, a fire pit, a pergola-shaded swing, a vertical garden and curved stone pathways.

Inside, a cylindrical glass lift rises through the centre of the house, wrapped by floating cantilevered treads, and the stairwell walls are cut with linear light slots. The living spaces use soft arches, sculpted marble and timber.

The boys' rooms are designed around supercars, with custom wall graphics, a racing-wheel shelf and car-inspired furniture.
